Keyword Research

Here’s a quick fact: Keywords affect your bottom line. Don’t believe us? Then keep reading…
The importance of keyword research cannot be overstated as it is the first building block in any SEO strategy. If you think about it, it makes sense; you need to know what your customers are typing in the Google search box when they’re looking for your product/service. Our clients are often surprized at some of the keywords that are identified; sometimes it won’t be what you expect. That’s why it’s so important to understand your customer’s motivations online. If you’re not visible in Google where your customers end up after searching for your product/service, then it’s affecting your bottom line.
There are three things that are important when doing keyword research:
- Search Volume: This indicated the amount of people searching for a specific keyword in a given month.
- Competitor Analysis: This tells us how difficult it will be to rank for that keyword.
- Conversion: Will a customer, coming in on that keyword, follow through with the conversion process?
Kadabra employees come from a highly competitive online background and we’ve been around the block when it comes to keyword research. Google Adwords has a great keyword tool that identifies specific sets of keywords in your niche. Depending on the search volume, competition and conversion, we then identify a PKL (Primary Keyword List) for your company. We also determine the amount of work it will take to get you ranking for a specific keyword.
The Primary Keyword List we identify during our research will be the first building block for your Kadabra SEO strategy. The keywords tie in with your website content, URL structure as well as the link building we do to your website.
Aiming for the right keywords will ensure that your company is visible where it matters.
